This piece encapsulates my traditional format but with a different twist on subject matter. Yes, I went across the Atlantic for this piece! When viewing my mosaics it’s often easy to discover themes where the wildlife is interacting with one another. Nature may be indifferent to man or beast, but I believe all wildlife is sentient. Except maybe ants, I will go out of my way to save an inch worm but shamelessly enjoy driving over ant mounds on my riding lawn mower. The Zebra is a fused glass tile. She is offering the bird on her tail a snack. The sun and mama lion with cubs are all clay tiles. This is another example where all of my techniques are represented here.
