I had a bit of fun with the border on this one! This piece lets loose all the stops! The swan is a clay tile with a doily imprinted on its surface while it was still damp. The purple tree tops are also clay. The fish is actually made of a few layers of Dichroic glass that refused to cooperate during picture day, but in fact changes colors as you walk past it. The solid copper rods of the tree truck is a nice contrast with the brass vintage faucet. Filled with dishware, semi precious stones, fused glass, found objects and more. This piece has it all.
